Dessange VoxBox - Influenster

I was chosen by Influenster to participate in the Dessange Paris VoxBox.  Check out this great full-size VoxBox they sent to me!  

The VoxBox included a full size of each of the Oleo Miracle Replenishing Shampoo, the Oleo Miracle Replenishing Conditioner, and the Oleo Miracle Replenishing Oil.

I love all of the products.  The shampoo and conditioner go a long way, so you don't need to use/waste a lot when you're using it in the shower.  The oil is great, it feels so soft and smooth and doesn't make my hair feel greasy at all.  One huge difference I noticed is that if I skip a day washing my hair while using these products, my hair doesn't feel gross and greasy the 2nd day as it used to with my previous products.

My personal opinion, the scent is a tad too strong, but it's at least a nice scent.  Since my kids use our shower, my daughter has taken it upon herself to try the products as well.  She LOVES the scent and the way it makes her hair feel.  Look at how gorgeous it looks!!

Kleenex Brand Believers Mission - Crowdtap

I was chosen by Crowdtap to participate in the Kleenex Brand Believers Mission.  Check out this great sample kit they sent to me!

It was perfect timing as, of course, it's the middle of cold & flu season.  Plus, my parents AND my husband's parents came into town for Christmas.  It was great to have these extra boxes of tissues around for everyone to try out and use.  I am personally a huge fan of the Kleenex Brand Tissues with Lotion.  I hadn't tried the Kleenex Brand Anti-Viral Tissues before, but I really liked them and will definitely be buying more in the future. Both boxes were so soft on our cold noses, it never felt uncomfortable like the cheap brands of tissue.

Zep Cleansters Sample & Share - Crowdtap

I was chosen to participate in the Zep Cleansters Sample & Share from Crowdtap.  Check out this great sample kit!

The kit included three (3) bottles of the Zep Quick Clean Disinfectant and two (2) bottles of the Zep All Around Oxy Cleaner & Degreaser from Zep Commercial.

After it arrived, I was anxious to use it.  After I took out the garbage, I cleaned the trash can, it smelled and looked MUCH better once I was finished using the product.  I wish I got a before and after picture, but I forgot... :(

I took a few of the bottles to work and gave them to a few co-workers, one of which is the office "janitor".  I told them about the Zep Cleansters Sample & Share from Crowdtap.  Both of them tried the samples and really liked how well they worked for them!  

Surveys & Mystery Shopping Really Pay!

Here's the "proof" of how you can earn money using the paid surveys and mystery shopping sites I have listed on this page.  Keep in mind that these balances are only from the last few months.  For Amazon.com gift cards received from surveys & SwagBucks, it's a total of $241 this year in 2014 alone!  The image below shows 2013 & 2014 so far, it doesn't include the $452 in Amazon.com gift cards in 2012.

For PayPal payments received from mystery shopping & surveys, it's a total of $193.21 in the last year! This total doesn't even count the physical checks I've received!

Outside of the paid surveys & mystery shopping, here's where some of this good stuff comes from: Swag Bucks, SuperPoints & MyPoints. These three sites are SO easy to earn points, which can be traded in for gift cards & PayPal cash.  

Swag Bucks is BY FAR my favorite rewards site as being super easy to rack up points & redeeming for rewards. At Swag Bucks you can earn points by using it as your search engine, taking surveys, doing "tasks", answering a daily poll and other totally simple stuff.  The picture below shows everything I've redeemed my points for since January 2013. This doesn't even take into account the $185 I redeemed in 2012!  I have averaged 571 Swag Bucks per month since January 2014 *JUST* using it as my search engine instead of Google/Yahoo/MSN, etc.  That amount doesn't even take into account the Swag Bucks I earn doing surveys, playing games or watching Swag Bucks TV!  You can now also earn Swag Bucks by shopping online.  I earned some by booking reservations for my boss, I didn't even spend my money!  Keep in mind that a $5 Amazon.com gift card is only 450 Swag Bucks! That's $60 in Amazon.com gift cards JUST since January 2014!

With MyPoints, you can earn points by shopping, printing/redeeming coupons, reading emails and other super easy things.  Plus, if you're a member of BzzAgent, you get points by submitting your Bzz activities and profile surveys.  The picture below is the amount I currently have in MyPoints, along with my three recent redemptions of $25 Amazon.com gift cards!  

SuperPoints is back!!  I just re-joined August 1st and I already have 1,056 points.

With SuperPoints you can earn points by watching videos and clicking the Super Lucky Button.  This is the easiest, most brainless thing ever!  The picture below is the amount I had in SuperPoints before they closed.  I had averaged about 482 SuperPoints per month since January 2012 (before it closed) and I only get points from the Super Lucky button.  

Fiber One® Meal Bar from BzzAgent

Absolutely LOVING the new BzzAgent Bzz Kit I received today with two FREE full-size boxes of the new Fiber One® Meal Bars, along with some coupons.  I received Chocolate Peanut Butter and Strawberry Greek Yogurt.  These will be perfect for my breakfast during the week as I barely have time to get myself and my kids ready and out the door on time on a daily basis.  These little gems are packed with 10g of protein, 9g of fiber and 40-60% less sugar than the Special K® meal bars.  They also offer a Dark Chocolate Almond flavor that has to be amazing.  I mean, "dark chocolate" pretty much seals the deal for me. YUM.

I have tried other Fiber One bars before, so I'm sure this new product won't disappoint!

Obviously these aren't going to be the "magic" weight loss pill.  You still have to eat healthy otherwise - getting your fruits and vegetables in, along with your healthy grains, lean protein and dairy.  

Exercise is really the key to losing serious weight.  Take it slow if it's been a while and listen to your body, if it hurts, don't push it too hard.  I know some amount of hurt is good, but too much of that can lead to serious injury, and nobody wants that.

8/22: I just signed up with this Campaign through BzzAgent, saw that they make dinner time easier and I CAN'T WAIT to try it!  

I love anything that makes my life and dinner time easier.  I'm not a gourmet cook, but I definitely make it a must that our family sits down to have dinner together every night.  Anything that can make the stress of making dinner go away, I must try!!!

I'll post more when I get the BzzKit and have had a chance to try out the Progresso Recipe Starters.

UNREAL Candy BzzAgent Campaign!

8/10: I just signed up with this Campaign through BzzAgent, saw that they have the candy at my local Smith's store and am VERY excited to try it!  

There's nothing I love more than chocolate candy, but I'm always feeling guilty about eating it because of all of the junk in it and all of the sugar and fat.  Hopefully this is a good remedy for that... Or  maybe it'll be a bad thing. LOL :)  I can't wait to see what the BzzKit has inside of it!

3/20: I just signed up with this Campaign through BzzAgent and redeemed my coupon for a FREE 12lb bag of dog food!  I can't wait to get it so we can try it out on the dogs.  

4/2: I have now had a chance to fully integrate it into my dogs' diet and they LOVE it.  They never used to stand around and watch me get their food and now they do, and as soon as I put the bowl down, they clean the bowl!  Very glad I've had a chance to try this dog food for my dogs, I'll definitely be buying it for my dogs.  They love it and seem very happy with the new choice.  Oh, and another huge plus, not as many stinky farts from them anymore! :)

Holy super fun House Party opportunity, Batman!!!

If you've never heard of House Party, you're missing out!!  Check out my previous blog post about the parties I've been able to host.  House Party is a company that lets you host house parties for FREE!  They send you the stuff that they want you to market and you host the party!  It's amazing and I'm so happy to have been introduced to it by a friend at her Perler Beads House Party.

Anyways, they have announced a party for the Zumba Fitness 2 Wii game!  How awesome would it be to host this party?!  Luckily we have 4 Wii controllers and enough room for 4 people to play.  I like that there's a beginner mode for people like me who have never played the first game and/or haven't taken a class at a gym before!  

I've always wanted to try the class, but have been too shy to jump into one.  So this will be the perfect opportunity to learn Zumba in my house with friends and family to share in the fun!  I really, really, really hope I win a spot in this House Party!

Kindle 3!!!!!

BzzAgent is starting this super cool new thing where you can invite yourself to a campaign.  Today is the Kindle 3!!!  How I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to get my hands on one of those!

I've been trying to find a way to read more, and getting into this campaign would be amazing help!  I know several people who have Kindles and they absolutely love them and have read a TON of books since purchasing the Kindle.

It would also be such an awesome way to get the kids to read more because they can read anywhere without having to haul around several books.  Case in point - we just got back from a trip to AZ and I told them they could only bring one small book because the car is so small and we have limited packing/backseat room.  This would have been PERFECT to take with us for each of them to be able to read as many books as they want... That is, if they could pry it away from me. :)


Please, oh, please BzzAgent, let me be a part of this Kindle 3 Campaign!!!

Yesterday in the mail I got $50 in checks for taking surveys and mystery shopping - one check for $20 from Toluna and a $30 check from Bestmark!  I should have taken a picture of the checks so you could see that it's real, but I shredded them after I deposited them...  I'll be sure to post a picture next time so you can see it's real.


I've only been a member of Toluna for a few months and was already able to cash out with $20.  The check from Bestmark was for 3 shops.  Not too bad!  The other nice thing - Toluna often does product testing, so you get points for testing out full size products!  So you get the product for free AND you get points, that add up to redeem for cash, gift cards or other products.

Why you should join Synovate/Global Opinion Panels

I participate in a lot of survey panels (see the list here), but I have to say that Synovate / Global Opinion Panels is one of the best survey panels around.  I don't usually hype up a company/group/etc. if they don't have some sort of referral reward, but this one is worth mentioning (and no, I don't get money or points or anything for hyping them up... :( Sad, but true...  Go here to sign up, you won't regret it - and they don't clog up your Inbox like a lot of others.

Anyways, doing their surveys is really easy and you usually don't get screened out of them and if you do, it's immediate, not after you've already spent 30 minutes doing the survey.  That drives me CRAZY!  Some of the surveys are also product testing surveys - those are my favorite!!!  You usually get a full-size product to test, not some rinky dink little sample size that you can barely use for the survey.  The points add up quickly and they have a new web voucher program where you can redeem your points for gift cards at a TON of great places like Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.  When you redeem your points, the turn around is amazingly quick, see the Twitter post I made here (that actually got re-tweeted).

Another great extra they have for members is Twitter Tuesday!  I've won every week I've participated (I think going on 5 weeks now), it's ridiculously easy and you get 2 prizes every time you win.  I've posted about my winnings here and here and below (at the end of the post) is what I got in the mail Saturday for winning the previous week.  I almost feel bad for winning weekly, but then I get over it. :)

The last thing I really like about them is that Marie, the "face" of Synovate/Global Opinion Panels, actually monitors her Twitter and Facebook account.  It's nice to be able to actually talk to her, especially if you have issues with your account.

7/18 - I received my FREE Glad ForceFlex Odor Shield Febreeze garbage bag from Vocalpoint today! The package came with the one FREE bag as well as some awesome coupons. I'll be passing those along to friends for sure.  Can't wait to try them out - come back and I'll post my review below.

7/29 - We tried out the garbage bag and it was pretty nice.  I liked the Febreeze sent - it wasn't too overwhelming.  However, I wasn't super impressed with the "ForceFlex" part of it...  Don't get me wrong, it was nice, but it didn't wow me.  Maybe I should have let more of the garbage pile up to see if it was really as strong as it says. :)  Here are some other reviews of the bags from other Vocalpoint members.  I'll still be using the coupon from the package though!

Downy Unstoppables - Review

Earlier this month I posted about the awesome FULL-SIZE Downy Unstoppables freebie I got from Vocalpoint.  I've used it in almost every load of laundry since I got it.  I have to say I was skeptical at first because I wasn't sure if it was supposed to take the place of my regular fabric softener or not.  So I put it in the wash per the instructions and also put the regular fabric softener in the detergent/softener/bleach thingy.

I really like the scent it gives in the wash and after the laundry is dry.  Not too overpowering, but not un-noticeable.  It's a nice fresh scent and it seems to last quite a long time.

Twitter Tuesday from Synovate, Take 4!

I've been taking surveys with Synovate / Global Opinion Panels since 2003 when I was a SAHM with the kiddies.  It's super easy and they do a lot of product testing, so it's nice to be able to get those freebies too (I'm talking full size products that you try out and keep).  I recently started doing Twitter Tuesday with them as well - every Tuesday at 1pm (Mountain time) Marie asks a question and the first 40 or so who answer her get a prize.  The nice thing, you don't have a limit on how many times you can win.  So I started playing a few weeks ago and won that week, won the following week and I won this week as well.  The first week I got a travel mug and a notepad, then I got another travel mug and a highlighter, then I got a mini-frisbee and another highlighter.  Here's a pic of what I got today: another mini-frisbee and this nifty light-up pen.  This past Tuesday I didn't get an email that I had won, so I was worried that maybe I had "overstayed my welcome" with Twitter Tuesday, even if she said there's no limit...  But then I got this in the mail today!  Thanks Marie & Synovate!!!
